Southern California Healthcare Workers Find Flyers On Their Car

After a shift in a Southern California hospital in the San Diego area healthcare workers going home were met with these flyers on their windshields.

Obviously someone felt the need to show their appreciation.

I served in the US Military, in the US Navy Nurse Corps as a matter of fact, and I DO NOT APPROVE THIS MESSAGE!

You can’t get more “FRONTLINE” than battling a killer virus that has invaded our shores and is making it’s way inland with high casualty rates; casualties that would be even higher without our “heroic” healthcare workers. They risk their lives taking care of patients with a highly contagious, active virus. They have risked their lives throughout their professional careers aiding those suffering from deadly diseases in spite of the risks. EVERY DAY! Every day for the duration of their careers! Not intermittently, not now and again, not during a deployment…Every Single Day!

Who ever wrote this garbage and distributed it is wrong on so many levels it would be laughable except there is nothing to laugh at dealing with this pandemic and the carnage it brings.

I am saddened that members of my profession had to be targeted by such caustic lunacy.

Who ever put this out does not speak for our Military, our Police, or our Firemen.

Your country, and the world is in a strange place at the moment.

I went walk about on WordPress the other day, and it is really scary how people are talking crap, egging each other on, and worst of all, taking it seriously. I think it has a lot to do with your up coming election, and having a divisive demon in the Whitehouse.

But the person who wrote and circulated this was almost certainly of low intellect and questionable mental health. It is unpleasant but I hope most of the folk who find this sort of crap will take a deep breath, chuck it in the bin and laugh it off.

I haven’t prayed for a long time, but I will be praying for your country and an end to its lunacy in November.

  I feel ya. I have had a tough time sleeping. Counting sheep doesn’t work for me. Maybe I’ll try counting the days til the next election… or go short and do months. June… July… August… September… October… November…mmm, November… zzz.
