In the famous words of President Handsome Joe Biden, “it’s a big eff’ing deal.” Anyway, they got their act back and on the road, as it were:
Still the best. But I digest.
After two years of breathlessly covering every twist and turn of Manchinema’s treachery and perfidy and ignoring their obvious corruption, Our Failed Political Press ™ barely covered this stunning Democratic victory And then it rolled off the front pages of most news websites because: Hair Füror generates clicks.
Anyway, here’s a story:
(CNN)President Joe Biden signed a sweeping $750 billion health care, tax and climate bill into law at the White House on Tuesday — marking a major victory for his administration and the Democratic Party ahead of the midterm elections.
Biden said during a signing ceremony in the State Dining Room that the legislation, called…

I’m sorry, but murdering a man sitting on a balcony is nothing to be proud of. What’s that line in Ametican jurisprudence? IMMINENT THREAT! There was no “imminent threat!” When you don’t obey your own laws, you become an outlaw. Ametica is now an Outlaw State!

I am assuming you are referring to the drone strike on Ayman al-Zawahiri, planner and perpetrator of 9/11. His actions resulted in the deaths of over 3000 people and injured many more. his reign of terror persisted well after 9/11. All is fair in love and war. No love here. It is war, war on terror. Al-Zawahiri got what he gave. Eye for an eye.
Rule of law different in war.

Trouble is. ..
If a big power declares war on a smaller state and wins, they have the option to hang around and influence things, or go home and meddle from a distance. If they choose the later, they can’t expect applause, or respect, from any of the hot heads in the Islamic world, or me. What they have done is keep a grudge going, just one act in a series of tit for tat.
The 9/11 strike was clearly visited on America from actors shielded by regimes in the orient. One of them, Pakistan is a nuclear power, another, Iran, soon will be, another Afghanistan was seen as an easy target, or a chaotic state crying out for western order? I’m not giving answers here, just saying how things look to me.
And please don’t take offence, because I don’t blame America for wanting to get out, that was democratic, you guys wanted out, and your president did it for you, but when you concede, play the big man, and hold your head high. This old testament stuff never ends well, because it never ends.
We had our underground bombings, sorry I don’t remember the date, was it 7/7 ? ….and they were just as nasty, if not as photogenic, and although they were inspired by foreign influence, they couldn’t have been completed without the grudge held by God fearing folk born and raised over here.

This is what I have learned in my 60+ years on this planet … man cannot live in peace, each generation reinvents their version of the wheel, someone is always trying to knock the king off the hill, and you can never please everyone…ever.
I have a chipmunk out back I have named Rutherford. He has a distinctive white spot behind each ear and a weird white spot on his back. Rutherford likes unsalted, sunflower kernels.
I put some out for him every morning; same amount, same place, same time, every day. I plan to do that as long as climate change permits.
Somewhere someplace someone will have a problem with that.
Rutherford doesn’t.

You’re lucky I don’t know where you live, or I’d be round there, eating Rutherford’s breakfast.
